Milburn House

Chattanooga, Tennessee

A storied dwelling.

The new owners of the historic Milburn House in Chattanooga’s arts district wanted a fresh visual identity for the building that would reflect the early 1900’s nostalgia of the home while striking a more contemporary and welcoming tone. We developed a bespoke brand tied to the building’s stately architecture and infused with all the character of a storied history.

The monogram logomark was inspired by the unique millwork on the front door of the Milburn House.

A palette of livable, luxurious greens and golds echoes the home’s exterior and interior colors.

A drawing of the house commissioned from local artist Brett Weaver adds a unique touch to notecards and stationery.

An eclectic font set anchored by Vidange Pro allows for expression across a variety of platforms.

From personal stationery to textile patterns to event ephemera, the Milburn House’s new brand identity spans its past and present lives and leans into the future, laying a welcoming foundation for many more years of stories within its walls.
